One operator. No handoffs, no reselling, no account layers.

Attilus AI is Nick Torounidis: six years on hotel floors, a construction company, and now the automations that connect the two.

Most of what gets sold as "AI automation" is built by someone who has never worked the job it's automating. This page is the case for why that's backwards, and what one operator actually gets you instead of an agency.

Six years before the first line of code

I spent six years working in luxury hotels, in Greece and abroad. Not consulting on hospitality from the outside: on the floor, during the shifts where a front desk actually breaks. Check-in rush with three parties arriving at once. A guest messaging at midnight about a late flight. The same five questions about Wi-Fi, breakfast times, and parking, asked by a different guest every single day, answered by a human every single time.

That's the part nobody selling hotel chatbots has actually lived through. I know which questions genuinely need a human (a complaint, a special request, anything involving money) and which ones are pure repetition that a system can handle correctly if it's built by someone who knows what "correctly" looks like at 2am with no manager on shift.

A construction company taught me the other side of real estate

I also own a construction company. That means I've sat on the other side of the table from agents, developers, and property owners, not as a vendor pitching them software, but as someone coordinating timelines, budgets, and the actual mechanics of getting a property from listing to sale. I know why a lead that isn't called back within the hour is a lead that's gone, because I've watched it happen from the operations side, not read about it in a case study.

Why marketing and sales come before the build

Automation only pays off when it's aimed at the right bottleneck, and most businesses can't tell you what their actual bottleneck is; they can tell you what's annoying, which isn't the same thing. My background is cross-domain: marketing, sales, and now AI. The intro call isn't a sales script. It's the same diagnostic work I'd do for my own business: find the point where time or money is actually leaking, then decide honestly whether an automation fixes it or whether the real problem is somewhere else entirely.

What one operator means in practice

The person you talk to on the intro call is the person who designs the system, builds it, tests it against real scenarios, and maintains it after launch. There's no account manager translating your requests to a dev team you never meet, and no handoff where the person who understood your business on call one disappears by the time something needs fixing.

That has a real tradeoff, and I'd rather say it plainly than let you find out later: I'm one person, not a twenty-person agency. That means fast, accountable, and personally invested in your system working. It also means I take on engagements I can actually do justice to, not everything that comes in. If that's not the right fit for what you need, I'll tell you on the call instead of taking the deposit anyway.

Where Attilus AI actually is right now

Being straight with you, the way I'd want a vendor to be straight with me: Attilus AI is new. The AI Guest Concierge is a tested, working demo, not a system that has run a live season for a paying client yet. What you can verify today is that the thing works end to end and that one person built every part of it. I'd rather tell you exactly where things stand than oversell a track record I don't have yet.

A note on how I work. Every claim on this site about what the systems do is either something I've personally tested or something I've labelled as illustrative. If a demo conversation or a report on this site looks realistic, that's intentional: it's meant to show you exactly what a real one looks like. It's still a demo until a client's real data is running through it.

Questions worth asking before you book a call

Have you built this exact automation before?

For the AI Guest Concierge, yes: it's built, tested, and documented (see the WebHotelier integration breakdown for the technical detail). For a specific client build, every engagement starts with the intro call precisely because "exactly this" rarely exists twice; your PMS, your channels, and your escalation rules are never identical to the last property's.

What happens if something breaks at 2am?

You get me, not a ticket queue. Monthly retainers exist specifically to cover monitoring and fixes, and the whole reason I insist on one person owning the build is so there's no diagnosis lag between "something's wrong" and "someone who understands the system is looking at it."

Why not just hire an agency?

If you need a ten-person team building fifteen parallel projects, an agency is the right call, and I'll tell you that honestly if that's what your situation needs. If you need one system, built by someone who understands your industry from the inside and stays accountable for it after launch, that's what a solo operator is actually good at, and it's what an agency structurally can't offer at the same price point.

What does an engagement actually look like?

A 15-minute call to find the real bottleneck, honestly, including telling you if automation isn't the fix. Then a custom build, tested against real scenarios before it touches a customer. Then a one-time setup cost and a monthly retainer that covers monitoring and improvements. No pitch deck, no multi-week sales process.

The contact form. When you send a message, your name, email, and message go to my inbox through an automation server I run. I use them only to reply to you.

Booking a call. The calendar is provided by Cal.com. The details you enter when booking are handled by Cal.com and added to my calendar so the call can happen.

Hosting. The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and secure the service.

What I don't do

I don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising, and don't add you to a mailing list because you got in touch.

How long it's kept

Messages and booking details are kept only as long as needed to reply and, if we end up working together, for as long as the business relationship and Greek accounting rules require.
